Thousands of campaigners took action ahead of the 2019 General Election calling on the next government to save more lives from bowel cancer by committing to:

Investing in early diagnosis by delivering improvements to bowel cancer screening
Tackling staff shortages in the NHS endoscopy and pathology services
Securing better outcomes for younger bowel cancer patients and those at high risk of developing bowel cancer
Ensuring advanced bowel cancer patients are given access to the best treatment and care

What we achieved

Thanks to our campaigners, more than 200 parliamentary candidates agreed to meet with us, if elected. We'll work with cross party MPs in the new parliament to improve diagnosis treatment and care for everyone affected by bowel cancer.
